Here are The Bevington’s, Camilla and her beautiful family. Whilst we had originally booked this session at the beginning on the year for the bluebells in May, the world had other plans so we held off for a Autumn family session instead.
I first Camilla in February ahead of a styled shoot she was organising for one of her amazing clients to celebrate women and mum’s in business. It was so important for Camilla to work with other like minded creatives who share the same passion and drive for their small businesses and I was honoured to be asked to be a part of it. Now less on that and more on this amazing lady and her family.
Camilla is a hard working mama who runs her own business as a marketing coach and mentor over at Camilla Bevington Marketing and blog Flamingo Monroe and also has the sweetest family. I was so excited to see her and meet her little ones at their Autumnal mini session at Thorndon Country park last month. Camilla was my first session of the day and what a session it was.
Children are my favourite to photograph in lifestyle sessions. Their care free and innocent nature brings out the best memories. My relaxed approach to photographing families means children (and adults) feel no pressure at all. In fact its just a day out to a local country park exploring with something snapping away to create these beautiful visuals.
Camilla and her husband have two little children, Henry and Florence. They are the sweetest! Florence with a more ruff and tumble character, whilst Henry is the sensible one! After a small amount of time they both felt completely comfortable with me taking their photographs and enjoyed their morning walking along the logs and playing with the leaves in a small part of the country park.
The autumnal colours and beam on sunlight which was shining throughout really set the scene for a perfect autumn morning. We have giggles, smiles, adventure and warm hugs! It is in these moments that nothing else matters. The fresh air and family time is tranquil and from a child’s perspective ‘so much fun’.
