Florrie was turning 1 so a week before her 1st birthday party, mum Zoe organised a Cake Smash session to print and hang in garland form for her birthday. The photos would later on be put into a little photo book for Florrie to look back at in the future.

Florrie loves all things pink so a white vest and pink tutu was perfect match for her cake smash. Along with a 2 tier cake made by my mum Debbie that was topped with strawberry buttercream and a mixture of edible floral decorations and some strawberries.

With weather on and off for the day we had planned we opted for a garden cake smash at Florrie’s Nanny’s house. In the garden sat an entire area of plants and flowers all in different pots infant of a high garden fence. It set the perfect setting for Florrie’s cake smash.

Not only did Florrie enjoy eating the cake but it also went down a treat with the adults after with a nice warm cup of tea. We finished up just in the nick of time before the rain started.

Every day should be a cake eating day!
